CSEAP and the State Benefits Unit partnered on a unique project which sought to understand state employee awareness of various benefits as well as their utilization of these benefits. CSEAP and the State Benefits Unit contracted with the Center for Health, Work & Environment (CHWE) at the Colorado School of Public Health at Anschutz Medical Campus to gain valuable insight from employees. CHWE researchers opened a survey from 11/15/22 to 12/5/22 available to a random sample of 10% of the state employee workforce. The survey was met with an impressive 45% response rate and led to helpful insight regarding state employee awareness of and use of various wellbeing, mental health, and health benefits.
Thank you to those who responded to the survey. The information has been used to help CSEAP and Benefits Unit teams hone outreach and awareness efforts associated with benefits available to state employees.
