CSEAP will again provide statewide universal policy and threat assessment training in February 2024. Threat assessment best practices for the workplace, including universal policy overviews, will be provided during this abbreviated 10 hour training. You may register for either or both presentations (attendance on both dates is not required).

February 7, 2024 - 9:30am to 12pm
Janeen Haller-Abernethy, Director of Colorado State Employee Assistance Program will provide a 2.5 hour introductory overview of various state universal policies including Workplace Violence including Domestic Violence Affecting the Workplace, Psychological Fitness for Duty, and the Drug and Alcohol (Impairment) policies.

February 8, 2024 - 9am - 4:30pm
Kirsten Olson, PhD, ABPP is a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist licensed in Colorado, California, and Nevada. She holds a Certificate in Threat Management from the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Dr. Olson is the President of Threat Management Consultants, LLC. Dr. Olson will provide 7.5 hours of live virtual training including a review of evidence-based practices as outlined by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NaBITA). Risk factors and interventions for workplace violence will be highlighted.
