Presenting your team's work at an international conference is exciting. Being asked to write about it is even more exciting. But having that article published in an international review is a rare opportunity.
That is exactly what happened when Colorado CSEAP's Janeen Haller-Abernethy, LCSW, Jeremiah Dahlen, LPC, CEAP, and Matt Steinkamp, LCSW attended the Employee Assistance Professionals Association Conference & EXPO in Minneapolis, Minnesota in October, 2018.
Their presentation highlighting Colorado's work in the area of conflict management caught the attention of an EAPA board member who asked the team to write an article for the Journal of Employee Assistance. Fast forward to 2019 and the article appeared in the Journal's third quarter edition.
"Colorado State government continues to be a leader in serving its employees. It is an honor for the team to be asked to author an article, and be recognized for our contribution," said Haller-Abernethy.
