Virtual Walk-In Appointment

Did you know? You could now schedule a virtual walk-in appointment with CSEAP?

These video or phone appointments are intended for state employees who are not experiencing an urgent need for support but would like to talk with a provider as soon as possible. Virtual walk-in appointments are single-session which means if you decide to return, you will likely see a different provider. Single-session counseling is an evidence-based practice and will likely be provided by a graduate or doctorate level counseling student under the supervision of a licensed provider.

New Study Finds CSEAP Effective in Reducing Mental Health Symptoms

Colorado State Employee Assistance Program (CSEAP) partnered with OMNI Institute in 2023 to replicate and expand upon a 2013 study that sought to examine the impact of EAP services in improving workplace productivity outcomes. The recently released executive summary of the 2023 study demonstrates that CSEAP services have a significant impact on the reduction of anxiety and depression symptoms in state employees. While the study may indicate challenges to previously used measures of presenteeism and absenteeism, findings indicate the value of investing in employee mental health.
