CSEAP will again provide statewide universal policy and threat assessment training in February 2024. Threat assessment best practices for the workplace, including universal policy overviews, will be provided during this abbreviated 10 hour training. You may register for either or both presentations (attendance on both dates is not required).

CSEAP and the State Benefits Unit partnered on a unique project which sought to understand state employee awareness of various benefits as well as their utilization of these benefits. CSEAP and the State Benefits Unit contracted with the Center for Health, Work & Environment (CHWE) at the Colorado School of Public Health at Anschutz Medical Campus to gain valuable insight from employees. CHWE researchers opened a survey from 11/15/22 to 12/5/22 available to a random sample of 10% of the state employee workforce.
Gripped by humiliation, fear of an abusive partner, and concerns over child custody, job and financial security, many victims keep quiet at work about their experience of intimate partner violence (IPV). In Colorado alone, 33% of women and nearly 29% of men will experience relationship violence in their lifetimes.

CSEAP is in need of control group participants for a study of the impact of clinical EAP services on absenteeism and presenteeism in the workplace. In particular, we need your participation if you anticipate NOT using our services in the coming months or year. We currently have the participation of 700 state workforce members but we need an additional 300 participants.
